Timeline
An ad hoc planning group has already been established by Secretary McPeak to initiate the work of the Partnership. The first meeting of the Partnership will be held in September 2005. The San Joaquin Valley Strategic Action Proposal must be completed by October 31, 2006. To ensure that as many elements of the Action Proposal as possible are implemented, a 30-month work plan (January 2007 - July 2009) is anticipated.
