The Maddy Forum (Radio/Podcast)

Overview

In 2008, The Maddy Institute debuted The Maddy Forum, a weekly half-hour public affairs program on 90.7 KFSR radio (http://www.csufresno.edu/kfsr/maddy08.html).

The Maddy Forum will feature conversations about important public policy issues facing the San Joaquin Valley, and interviews with local leaders and elected officials. The program will be hosted by Mike Lukens, and each program will be introduced by Maddy Institute Executive Director Mark Keppler.

The program will interview a diverse array of distinguished state and national guests to discuss topics of importance to our region, our state and our nation. The goal of is to encourage critical questioning to foster a deeper understanding of the issues facing our nation, state and region by a thoughtful, objective, fair and civilized exchange of ideas. Each show will include a focus on how the particular issue under discussion impacts the San Joaquin Valley.
